Kelly Dawson, NCCJ
“Being a part of the cohort process was invaluable for us at NCCJ. I learned so much about procedures we can implement right away to make Anytown a more inclusive and safe space for our campers and our staff. They took the time to answer all of my questions in detail. They never shamed or made me feel like 'you should already know the answer to that.'
My favorite part of the cohort was all the one-on-one time I got with the TQAMP staff. Having an expert walk through your camp's individual policies and procedures with you is so helpful. As we gear up for summer programming, I feel confident that I have the tools to lead my staff and to support our campers and their families.
These people know LBGTQIA+ issues, and they know camp. If you have questions about a camp shower, they know what that looks like. If you need help with a camp waterfront, they know what you are trying to navigate. It's really special to be with people that are true experts in this field. “
Akari Jensen, Northwest Outdoor Science School
“Working with TQAMP has been such a joy. They are all incredibly affirming, and have helped us to find our voice in supporting the gender expansive students that will be attending our program. Working with TQAMP was exactly what we needed to write policies that align with our values and will provide a safe Outdoor School experience for all.”

Megan Lynch, Camp Aldersgate
“Working with TQAMP was a fantastic experience! They tailored sessions to meet my staff's specific needs and provided incredible support throughout the process. The training was engaging, insightful, and created a space where everyone felt comfortable sharing and learning. Chris did an amazing job fostering a collaborative environment, and my team walked away with valuable skills. We were so impressed that we’ve already booked them again! Highly recommend!”
Elli Grapp, Duluth YMCA
“Working with the Chris and the TQAMP has been an amazing experience. Chris delivered a presentation that allowed our leaders to enter the conversation about trans* inclusion without assuming a base level of knowledge or making folks feel judged. He created a space to learn and foster empathy, and in doing so, paved a way for more meaningful engagement between the YMCA and our trans* staff and community members.”
